Got my car stuck in the mud tonight…in my driveway. Difficult to explain exactly how I did that. Halle, Kelly, Steph, and I tried to push it in neutral but the tires were six inches deep. Burden and blessing.
It’s quite difficult to reconcile the blessings in my life with the burdens of the suffering world. And yet the blessings must not be rejected, but offered; shared; sown. May I always live in this tension. Praying for you, Haiti.
Lonesome for God.
Found this journal entry today as I was going through some of my things.
