iPad
iPad sounds like somebody from deep Wisconsin saying ‘iPod.’
stuck in the mud.
Got my car stuck in the mud tonight…in my driveway. Difficult to explain exactly how I did that. Halle, Kelly, Steph, and I tried to push it in neutral but the tires were six inches deep. We ruined two towels and broke a piece of plywood in the process but one hour, a football player from Vanderbilt, and two rubber Gorilla mats later, my car is safely out of its predicament, and I can go...
Burden and blessing.
It’s quite difficult to reconcile the blessings in my life with the burdens of the suffering world. And yet the blessings must not be rejected, but offered; shared; sown. May I always live in this tension.
Praying for you, Haiti.
Lonesome for God.
Found this journal entry today as I was going through some of my things. It was written in the middle of a six day fast, which I didn’t make it to the end of…but obviously the Lord was speaking to me and I was hearing it loud and clear. Thought I would share.
It is a wonderful hardship to be lonesome for God.

I feel so strange, as though I were in love. Looking...
